Just had an update from the hosting company and they say that our site is starting to 'resolve' at their end, whatever that means! so it should be up fairly soon!

I have been trying but gggrrrr!!

Working for me after router and modem reboot.

If there was issues resolving, sounds like a DNS / Server issue on there part.

I have tried everything to get in to no avail.

Your ISP might not have refreshed yet. what ISP you on Mitch?

If you connect direct to the modem via an rj45 cable open a dos box in Windows and type "ipconfig /release" and reboot.

You lost me totally no nowt wron on my side as i can get on everything else, even gettin messages back through but i can't open the site.

If the hosting company lost the server connection somehow (ie it changed its IP address) it can take up to 72hours for the DNS servers (which resolve a domain name to an ip address and back again) to update fully.

but how come everyone else can get back on and mitch can't?

In all honsty, I don't know.
I'd turn off everything internet related, modem, routers, unplug from the line itself for 5-10minutes then reboot it all personally.
